Emmanuel Lutheran Church is located in the heart of Venice, Florida on the Gulf.  Individually we make up the body of Christ, and together we work to make this community a welcoming home.

Worship is uplifting, and the message of the Gospel is reflected through the ministry of the church. You will sense the joy of the Lord when you enter this community of faith. 

Worship in word and sacrament is at the center of our Church's life.  For Lutherans, the Word and the sacraments are the means God uses to share God's love with the world.  Emmanuel is affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA).  As such we primarily use liturgy and music found in Evangelical Lutheran Worship which we print out weekly for each of our services. If you attend worship with us, you will see the four main pieces of our service: The GATHERING, The WORD, The MEAL, and The SENDING. Join us and see how GATHERING together to hear the WORD of God and share a MEAL can be transformational in SENDING you into the week ahead.

Come as you are!  Some wear their "Sunday best" while others might be in shorts and t-shirts.  We don’t care how you dress for our services, as long as you come dressed 😊 We look forward to having you worship with us.
